Netball

Netball is a fun way to keep active and spend time with friends. At Kwinana Recquatic we have adult (16 years +) women’s and mixed social competitions that are open for beginner players to experienced teams, with games being held on Tuesday nights, Wednesday nights and Friday mornings.

Nominate a team

Nominations for new seasons open four weeks prior to the season start date. To nominate a team please complete the online Nomination Form. A team member will be in touch to confirm that your team has been accepted into the competition.

• Friday Morning Ladies Netball

Nominating as an individual

Are you wanting to play a social sport but don’t have a team to nominate? Nominate as an individual:

1. Individual Nomination - Complete the individual nomination form and return it to socialsports@kwinana.wa.gov.au. We will keep your completed form on file and if any teams contact us looking for fill in or permanent players, we will forward you contact information onto them.

Personal information collected through this form is used to connect individual players with social sports teams seeking additional participants. By submitting this form, you consent to your name and contact details being shared with relevant team captains or representatives for this purpose. If this information is not provided, Recquatic may be unable to assist with team placement. Game Days, Fixtures and Ladders 

Our current game days are:

*The number of games held per week is dependent on the number of teams that have nominated.
** Friday morning Netty runs during school terms only.

Payments

Nomination Fees:

New Teams:

• Are required to pay a nomination fee ($76.00) and at your first fixture you will be required to pay a game in advance which will be held as payment towards your teams last game of the season. Should your team withdraw during the season this is non-refundable.

Current Teams:

• Are not required to pay a new nomination fee for each season.

Weekly Game Fees:

• The weekly game fee is $76.00 and this is payable at reception before the start of your game.

Forfeits

Forfeit fines are incurred when a team forfeits a fixtured match:

• If a team gives more than 24 hours notice they will be required to pay the game fee ($76.00)
• If a team gives less than 24 hours notice they will be issued a forfeit fine ($152.00)
• A forfeit will result in a loss of 1 premiership point and the scores will be recorded in favour of the non-offending team (20-0)
