Soccer (Futsal)

Futsal (indoor soccer) is a fast paced team sport that keeps everyone moving. Being a 5 a side competition you are sure to work up a sweat. It’s a great work out, plus a great way to hang out with friends. We offer a mixed competition on Monday nights, which is open for beginner to experienced teams (players must be aged 16 +).

Nominate a Team

Nominations for new seasons open 4 weeks prior to the season start date. To nominate a team please complete the online Nomination Form. A team member will be in touch to confirm that your team has been accepted into the competition.

Nominating as an individual

Are you wanting to play a social sport but don’t have a team to nominate? Nominate as an individual:

  1. Individual Nomination - Complete the individual nomination form and return it to recquatic@kwinana.wa.gov.au. We will keep your completed form on file and if any teams contact us looking for fill in or permanent players, we will forward you contact information onto them.

Game Days, Fixtures and Ladders

Our mixed 5 a side social Futsal competition is held on a Monday evening with game times being;
6:30pm
7:20pm
8:10pm
9:00pm
*Game times are dependent on the number of teams playing in each season.

Payments

Nomination Fees

For this season only, all teams will receive:

  • 20% off Team Nomination Fee
  • 20% off Match Fees
  • 20% off Team Bond

New Teams:

  • Are required to pay a nomination fee ($72.00) and a bond ($72.00) before they will be included on the fixture. The bond will be held as payment towards your teams last game of the season. Should your team withdraw during the season this bond is non-refundable.

Current Teams:

  • Are required to pay a game bond fee, as nomination fees roll over from one season to the next (unless the team forfeits).

Weekly Game Fees

  • The weekly game fee is $72.00 and this is payable at reception before the start of your game.

Forfeits

Forfeit fines are incurred when a team forfeits a fixtured match:

  • If a team gives more than 48 hours notice for a forfeit no game fee/forfeit fine will be issued
  • If a team gives more than 8 hours notice (but less than 48 hours notice) they will be required to pay the game fee ($72.00)
  • If a team gives less than 8 hours notice they will be issued a forfeit fine ($129.00)
  • A forfeit will result in a loss of 1 premiership point and the score will be recorded in favour of the non-offending team (5 to 0)
