Stadium Closure

Monday, 20 September 2021

Our Sports Stadium will be closed and unavailable for use from Friday 1 October to Sunday 10 October (inclusive), due to resealing and remarking of the floor.

This essential work is undertaken both to maintain the floor and to keep the playing surface safe for all our users.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Wheelchair Accessible Equipment

Wednesday, 02 June 2021

Kwinana Recquatic is committed to discovering who you are, what your goal is, and giving you the tools to achieve it. With the recent additions to the Recquatic fitness services, accessibility has been a primary factor in equipment selection and layout.

We are proud to offer a range of wheelchair adaptable equipment in both our first and ground floor studios, providing cardiovascular, resistance, and wellness options including:

Ground Floor Gym and ROMWOD Studio

  • Technogym Element+ Inclusive Chest Press, Shoulder Press, and Low Row. Each unit is fitted with a swing-away seat that is easily removed to allow wheelchair access, and with additional handgrips that allow use without exerting the shoulders.
  • Technogym Excite Live Top is medically certified and provides the best cardiovascular upper body training on the market. It allows users to achieve cardiovascular efficiency in the presence of lower limb limitations.
  • On-demand mobility classes with WheelROM in the ROMWOD studio. WheelWOD and ROMWOD have teamed up to bring you the WheelROM adaptive pathway. It has ten adaptive pathways that will help you mobilise and get those tight shoulders, packed spine and posterior chain open again.

First Floor Cardio Studio and Functional Training Studio

  • In addition to the Technogym Excite Live Top, the Cardio studio is home to a Dual Adjustable Pulley, offering user-friendly cable resistance to perform a vast array of movements for all Recquatic members, including wheelchair access. Combined with the wide-open space and free weights available in the Functional Training Studio, the first floor at Recquatic provides all the tools to meet your training goals.

If you haven’t explored what is on offer at the Recquatic, there is no better time. Drop through any time during our opening hours and an experienced staff member will show you through these fitness spaces. Find out more about our membership options.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Contact Tracing

Friday, 04 December 2020

From Saturday, December 5, Kwinana Recquatic will be required to maintain a mandatory contact register for all patrons attending the Centre over the age of 16.

The reintroduction of contact registers is an additional protection measure and will assist with the WA Department of Health contact tracing, should it be required.

Kwinana Recquatic will be required to collect contact details of all patrons, staff, visitors, hirers and contractors that attend the premises.

The contact register records will be kept for 28 days, and not used for any other purpose. They will be destroyed after this time.

This is a government requirement, and refusal to provide contact information will result in being denied entry into the venue.

All patrons entering the Recquatic Centre are required to scan the QR code upon each entry, or complete a manual form before accessing the Centre services.
